READ THE PART NUMBER
ONE BRAND, MANY DIFFERENT FUEL SYSTEMS.
Diesel fuel injection spans generations of mechanical pumps, electronic distributor systems, common-rail components and unit injectors. Manufacturer names help identify which technology may be involved; they do not establish that all of a maker’s products share a test method or are repairable.
DCT can review the exact component and related engine/equipment details to discuss possible testing, repair, rebuilding, calibration, replacement or parts-sourcing paths. Manufacturer authorization, warranty and availability must be confirmed separately.
THREE IDENTITIES TO COLLECT
- Fuel-system manufacturer
- Brand and full number on the actual pump, injector or related assembly.
- Engine maker and configuration
- Engine make, family, model and serial information.
- Equipment or vehicle
- Machine model, chassis, production variations and reported symptoms.

MANUFACTURER GUIDE
Bosch
Bosch appears across several generations of diesel fuel injection, from traditional mechanical inline pumps to electronically controlled pumps and common-rail systems. These are different technologies, not one interchangeable repair category.

Stanadyne
Stanadyne pump families appear in many traditional and electronically controlled diesel applications. DB-series mechanical distributor pumps and the electronically controlled DS4 present different identification and service questions.

Delphi
Delphi and historical Lucas/CAV references can describe older rotary pumps as well as modern electronic and common-rail hardware. Using the correct family name prevents a misleading one-size-fits-all diagnosis.

DENSO
DENSO-related diesel fuel injection ranges from mechanical inline and rotary equipment to high-pressure common-rail supply pumps and electronically actuated injectors. The complete number and engine application establish the correct service pathway.

Parts and component suppliers
Additional component supplier names for identification include:
- Alliant Power
- PurePower Technologies
- DIPACO
- S&S Diesel Motorsport
Whether an individual supplier part is suitable, available or covered by a warranty depends on the exact product and transaction.
Engine & equipment applications
Engine and machinery brands help establish the application, but do not identify the installed fuel-system unit by themselves.
Road and commercial: Cummins, Ford Power Stroke, General Motors / Duramax, International / Navistar, Detroit Diesel, Isuzu, Hino, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo / Mack, PACCAR, Mitsubishi, Scania.
Agriculture, construction and off-highway: John Deere, Caterpillar, Case IH, New Holland, CNH / FPT Industrial, Kubota, Perkins, Deutz, Komatsu, JCB, Yanmar, Massey Ferguson / AGCO, Bobcat, Liebherr, Case Construction.

Historical names and replacement-number cautions
ZEXEL and Diesel Kiki, AMBAC and American Bosch, and Lucas, CAV and Delphi often appear in historical pump identification records. References to both names help an owner locate the correct technical family; they do not prove that two components are identical or interchangeable. Likewise, a common engine brand does not prove every model uses the same Bosch, DENSO, Delphi or other fuel system.
Use the complete maker/model plate, any suffix or calibration code, and engine serial range rather than guessing from visual similarity. DCT can discuss the appropriate next step after review.
Manufacturer questions
Is DCT a factory-authorized service center for every listed brand?
No such blanket claim is made. This directory identifies component and application references for technical inquiries, not manufacturer endorsements or certifications.
Does listing a brand mean all its pump and injector models can be rebuilt?
No. Coverage depends on the precise unit, supported testing and repair procedures, parts availability and other service limitations.
Can DCT source a replacement component?
Parts or exchange options may be discussed after fitment, availability, current pricing, warranty and transaction terms are verified. There is no website checkout.
