DCT LINE CARD / WIRING HARNESSES AND CONNECTORS

Valve Cover Harness Connectors

Some engine designs route injector wiring through valve cover connections or gasket-associated pass-throughs. Replacing a similar-looking connector can create sealing problems.

Request wiring and connector parts using the precise harness or connector number, engine details and photographs. DCT can review the identification and sourcing question.

Where this component fits

Connector shape alone does not confirm a correct harness. Terminal arrangement, wire count, seals and model-year changes can matter when making a replacement decision.

Identify the correct part before ordering

Identify the specific engine, valve cover style and connector or gasket part number.

Include connector-face and wire-side photos, the number of pins, the length of the repair section and any readable OEM markings. Avoid installing a visually similar but differently wired connector.

Harness and connector replacement questions

Distinguish a connector repair from a complete harness or gasket replacement.

Confirm whether the request is for a complete harness, pigtail or a connector-only repair. The mating terminal, seal, harness routing and wire arrangement must be checked against the original.

Common names and related search terms

Related terms include valve cover gasket connector; injector pass-through connector. Harness, pigtail, pass-through, repair connector and valve-cover connection may refer to different replacement scopes. Provide the complete part number and intended application when requesting a quote.
