Field Guides / Worksheets & decision tools
Identifying the correct part is the foundation of an accurate diesel injection estimate. Bosch, Denso, Delphi, Stanadyne and other suppliers may use numbers different from the engine manufacturer’s catalog. Similar housing shapes and close numerical sequences do not establish interchangeable calibration. This tool helps organize the evidence required for a proper lookup.
Collect reliable identifiers
Look for the permanent supplier number with its letters and suffixes, vehicle OEM label, engine serial or build list, equipment identification and injector coding. Photograph the full unit and all readable markings. Do not sand a precision part or disassemble a pressurized system to expose a hidden marking. A shipping box number should be treated as a clue until the unit itself is verified.
This worksheet does not compute an interchange, compatibility or DCT service eligibility verdict. Only current OEM information and a qualified specialist can confirm that. The entries remain local to the browser and you may print or copy them for your own work order.

Next steps
Compare the recorded numbers with the correct engine build’s parts catalog, note dated approved supersessions and request confirmation of testing or rebuild support before arranging shipment. Keep a copy with the component for future service.
Contact DCT about a specific component
Use the authorized service inquiry to ask about testing or repair eligibility. A worksheet does not submit an inquiry or approve shipment.
