Field Guides / Worksheets & decision tools
Two estimates labeled ‘pump rebuild’ may describe completely different work. One might include inspection and a leak test; another may include supported teardown, service parts and a validated final test sequence. This worksheet helps owners and procurement teams compare total quoted charges while separately checking the technical scope.
What must match between quotes?
Confirm the same exact part number and failure hypothesis, incoming inspection, bench test requirements, parts and labor, calibration, consumables, freight, return/core terms and warranty. An estimated price based only on vehicle model is not automatically a firm component quote. Ask what happens if the unit fails the incoming inspection and whether further work requires written approval.
Do not enter confidential customer names or payment details into this page. All calculations occur in your current browser session and are not transmitted to DCT. If a supplier does not include a line item, do not assume its cost is zero; mark it as unknown and request clarification before relying on the comparison.

Choosing the appropriate service
Use the numeric difference as one part of the decision. The best option should describe the supported technical scope and test evidence, not simply have the smallest bottom line. Keep the actual suppliers’ written terms with your project records.
Contact DCT about a specific component
Use the authorized service inquiry to ask about testing or repair eligibility. A worksheet does not submit an inquiry or approve shipment.
